Targeted Recruitment Support
◢ Process and Pipeline Building Package: 10 weeks
Targeted support where hiring managers often need it most: designing the interview process and tools, and building a competency-aligned candidate pool of 50%+ leaders of color ready for the later stages of interviewing. We’ve adapted the front end of our signature executive search service to provide capacity and expertise where organizations often need it most. This support includes initial alignment meetings, job description design, interview process and materials design, outreach and advertising, initial interviewing and candidate summaries, and concludes with the introduction of up to six qualified candidates eligible for the organization’s final interviews.
◢ Search Readiness Support: 3-4 weeks
For organizations considering brand new, back-filled, internal hires or other positions in contexts of change or complexity, and want to ensure inclusion in the design as well as core competency aligned tools, we offer our highly regarded discovery process and its companion synthesis, job description and competency based interview materials. This support includes deep thought partnering with organization leaders and hiring committees in the organizational culture, needs, priorities and challenges surrounding the role, a facilitated multi stakeholder needs assessment listening series, a synthesis of themes, and an interview process outline that centers equity as well as competency focused job announcement and interview templates.

Since 2011, we have honed our expertise in equity-centered executive search and people solutions. Our clients are focused on improving the lives of people of color and historically excluded groups through a variety of functions from advocacy to education to social services to philanthropy. Training and Consulting
Our unique and specialized process has invited many requests for training and consulting over the years. We are delighted to work with clients to offer one-off trainings or to add additional capacity building with active search clients in order to expand the reach of our executive search work.
Currently, we offer the following trainings:
◢ Running an Equity-Centered Search
Learn our start-to-finish process for how we approach and organize each stage of a search process, covering how to center equity and inclusion from the outset, building competency driven interview tools and process, advertising and recruitment, interviews, decision-making, and what to consider in this current landscape to attract aligned candidates.
This is an approximately 3 hour session that includes a pre-survey focused on organizational context. Template materials are provided as a takeaway for organizations to use in their own searches. This is a powerful and streamlined development opportunity for search committees, HR teams or hiring managers.
◢ Mitigating Bias in Interviewing
Our signature session from our executive search practice is now a standalone training for hiring managers and hiring teams of all experience levels. This 90-minute session is tailored to build capacity and awareness by focusing on common language, common pitfalls, and concrete strategies for disrupting bias throughout a recruitment process, and especially during interviewing and decision-making. The training includes pre-reading and a reflection exercise.
Our team members also welcome opportunities to share our expertise in equity-centered search and talent practices, liberatory workplaces and supporting leadership transitions through discrete speaking engagements or consulting projects.
